Spinner Rings
6 Lessons -
Spinner rings, prayer rings, meditation rings, worry rings. No matter what you choose to call them, I love making these rings – although I prefer the first three names to the last! I enjoy coming up with new combinations of textures, finishes and spinners, and definitely enjoy people asking “how on earth did you fit that ring on there?”! The curving of the main ring holds the spinners or satellites in place whilst still allowing you to spin them round – a beautiful and playful piece of jewellery.
The main project in this book teaches you how to make the ring shown here, including how to create the wavy edge to the main ring. Three variations are also included and explained to help you make your perfect spinner ring in your own style and to teach you as many techniques as possible!
This tutorial ebook is just one in a growing collection. You can buy each one individually or buy on the whole bundle and save money at the same time!
I will also cover an explanation of all the tools and materials that you need, how to size both the main and spinner or satellite rings perfectly, soldering hints, tips for using design punches to texture the silver and two different methods of creating the anticlastic shape (in other words, curved in two different directions) of the main ring, complete with photos to make the explanations as clear as possible.
Don’t worry if you don’t have the same materials in stock that I have used in the examples, or hammers and punches that give the same textures – experiment with what you have available. The satellite rings can often be made with wire left over from other projects. Above all, have fun!
Although I will teach you how to work out your ring size I have also included a ring size chart at the end of the book, and two extra bonus downloads are also available:
* The length of wire required to make a basic ring - all the calculations done for you!
* Ring sizing help for spinner rings - a guide to help you work out the best sizes
The ebook has 22 pages with 73 photos.

self-taught and like many people started with wire and beads. Learning how to solder, however, opened up a whole new world of jewellery making, one that she is keen to share!
